Prison (Belgium)

This prison was built in 1779 by the Austrians and was very revolutionary for its time (they tried to reeducate the prisoners, teaching them skills in manufacturing hemp, wool, cotton & glass). It housed 12,000 cells and became a military prison and home for mental patients later.
