Bärenquell Brauerei (Germany)

Abandoned brewery in Berlin dating back to the late 1880s. Over the years, the brewery expanded substantially, producing a wide assortment of beers. When in 1994 the brewery had to close, it soon became the preferred purlieu for vandalizing youth and graffiti sprayers.

RAW Pankow (Germany)

One of the abandoned roundhouses in Berlin built by the Reichsbahn, the German national railway. The roundhouse together with the adjacent turntable was used to repair locomotives.

Olympisches Dorf (Germany)

Built in 1934, the Olympic village comprises of 150 buildings (including a swimming pool, soccer field, athletics field, gym hall, theatre, etc.). Over 4000 athletes of 50 nations stayed at the village which later became an infantry school and residence for Russian officers.

NSA Teufelsberg (Germany)

NSA spy station built on an artificial hill in Berlin. The hill was made with rubble from the war-torn capital. Underneath it lays a military technical college designed by Albert Speer. The US National Security Agency built the listening station to spy on Soviet and East German military traffic.
