Maison Heinen (Luxembourg)

Abandoned large farm house in a quaint village in the outskirts of the city of Luxembourg. The stucco detailing and fine craftsmanship of the wall and ceiling decorations give the villa a sophisticated feel. On the first floor, newspapers and calendars dating back to the 1930s adorn the untouched bedroom, which features not only religious statues, but also the obligatory bedroom-wall-cross.

Hi Rox, just a little question concerning the possibility to visit the maison Heinen…is it still possible to enter in the house? I have seen that the 2 barns left and right of the house have been razed to the ground and I thought ther was no more access to the house!! Thx for the answer! Zuttamo

If these photos were taken in 2013 I’m pretty sure nothiong is left now. What won’t be outright stolen will be destroyed by squatters. Pity!

I doubt squatters around Luxembourg, would want to use that place. There are high end up-to-date modern homes, squatters can find to sleep in Luxembourg. Who would risk the harsh police treatment, to sleep someplace without running water, or electricity, and without all the usual kinds of benefits of being in the city…. Where they can have it all. If you’re going to risk punishment, you might as well get the most out of where you’re squatting.. lol
